Large Handmade totemic stackable resin planters, innovativly made from waste materials such as shredded plastics & cork dust.
Handmade in small batches by Mescla, a London-based design studio that specialises in creating distinctive artisan homeware and statement planters.
Mescla, which means 'blend' or 'mix' in Portuguese, encapsulates philosophy behind exploring different forms and unconventional materials.
Colours in each batch may vary slightly.
Made with recycled shredder plastic, cork dust, solvent free gypsum resin.
Water resistant, which means they can withstand water collecting at the bottom. However, it is not recommended to use it as a vase for fresh cut flowers, as they may not be completely watertight.
Wash in cool water. Avoid using harsh chemicals, as they may damage the acrylic sealer and the overall appearance of the planter. Wipe dry.
Display as a plant pot, small items storage or stack a couple of them for a decorative totem look.

Pushing the boundaries by developing unique composite mixes, utilizing post-consumer and production waste like cork dust, recycled plastic, and sew dust sourced from East London woodworking workshops. Repurposing these materials that would otherwise contribute to landfill, gives the designs their bold look and surprising textures.
