Fiona Roberton is a freelance graphic designer, mostly working in TV, and a sometime writer and illustrator of children's books. Fiona first worked with ceramics some years ago while studying in the States, and started making again more recently when the Kiln Rooms opened in Peckham. Now she works from her studio near Deptford, where she mostly hand throws colourful, functional stoneware - with a bit of slip casting thrown in - and make endless multi-coloured glaze tests. She loves the simplicity and warmth of making something you use everyday.
