It's recommended to apply a food-safe, plant-based oil before first use and periodically thereafter. Apply a thin, even coat over the entire surface with a cloth, then allow the board to dry overnight.
If the surface begins to look dry or develop a whitish appearance, it may be time to oil the board. Regular oiling helps reduce staining and surface roughness while enhancing the wood’s natural luster and allowing you to enjoy its beautiful aging process.
