Feeding people runs in the Shedletsky family; founder James' great grandfather, Sam Shedletsky, used to supply London's East End from his kosher butcher. One hundred years later, James founded Shedletsky's after getting hooked on pickling and fermenting; and named the business in honour of his great grandfather’s butchers' shop.
