The Mizutama rice bowl in rough pottery features rustic and irregular polka dots hand-painted by Japanese artisans. The glaze containing a lot of granular particles is used for this bowl, giving a rough texture.
The dark brown version is finished with brush strokes, has variations in colour and glaze.
The inside of the bowl feels rough so the served rice won't easily adhere to the surface helping to eat rice plus wash the bowl easily.
